Standing up for Seniors in Manitoba

Time after time, I have stood up to support seniors in Manitoba.  We have held many forums in Manitoba dealing with seniors issues.  In October 2010, when one of our respected elders, Joe McLeod, was put in jail as a result of his Alzheimer's Disease.  The NDP failed to act.  I spoke out loudly for better respect and understanding of seniors with dementia.  Within two days Joe was out of jail and in a personal care home.  Recently, Joe was at a barbeque and dancing with his wife Rose.  This is what respect is about - giving seniors the respect and the decent care they should have.  See http://manitobaliberals.blogspot.com/2010/10/joe-mcleod-with-alzheimers-ends-up-in.html
